When the creative team at Affinity Serif saw by chance that I made "Kazari" (One of my personal illustrations that are part of Echoes of Japan) with their product, Affinity Photo, they asked me to make another piece for them that would be used for marketing purposes and downloadable, fully layered, as a sample to show the potential of the software.
As a CD and designer I am more used to creating concepts or looks for campaigns, but not this type of artistic work. So it was such a blast to be paid to do "my art". Truly an amazing experience I won't ever forget.
